The Zine is CGU’s very first student publication that creates space for creative expression in the diverse voices that make up this community.
Student Objectives
Students will
Plan and construct a project focused on their favorite media icon
Develop writing skills in several genres as they create a multigenre project
Demonstrate digital literacy skills through the manipulation of a variety of ReadWriteThink.org online tools
Demonstrate visual literacy as they apply technical and artistic skills in the choice and placement of images, backgrounds, and text (fonts, sizes, and colors)
